Another shaped cake. Cars are a bit of a challenge to make, since there aren't any clear answers on how to pipe out the tires... they would normally decend from the base of the vehicle, but that doesn't work as well for a cake! I know there's a better way to do this, just haven't found it yet.
Buttercream icing, fondant made wheels, and color flow 3's. The
3 on the roof is covered in buttercream.

Hi,
I recently linked to your blog and I was wondering if you would link to mine. It is,
delicioushomecooking.blogspot.com
Thanks,
Sue
By the way, the cakes are awesome
my husband would love this cake. Great idea!
I recently bought a nascar cake pan, and am waiting for it to arrive.... i stink at carving, but you've done a wonderful job!!!
Wendy, I was directed to your blog by my friend Mindy Ohrenberg. You made a cake for a tea party she attended, the tea kettle cake.
Anyway, I was wondering if your cake making services are for hire. If so, what is your pricing? I live in KC North and would like to possibly have you do a couple of cakes for me in the upcoming months.
Thanks,
Shannon
